Amy Spelz, former Jerusalem 2050 program coordinator, holds a M.A. in peace and conflict studies from the European University Center for Peace Studies and a B.A. in international relations from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. In 2003 and 2005, she spent time volunteering at the Camas, an outdoor adventure-learning center on the Isle of Mull, Scotland, where she worked primarily with at-risk youth. Prior to joining Jerusalem 2050, Ms. Spelz taught at a St. Mary’s Ryken College Preparatory School in Maryland. Today, Amy works as a program coordinator for community welfare at Liberia Mission, Inc., an orphanage and foster-care facility located an hour outside of Monrovia, Liberia.
