This expose describes four journeys into our collective future: each expedition is guided by a mystic who ties our spectacular voyages together. We witness provocative insights plus an outpouring of potential solutions to problems that have plagued earth for generations.
Our first journey is to Mt. Zion in the year we would know as 2049. Since revolutionary forms of human interaction have occurred, new ways of referencing time were adopted: 2049 is the 25th anniversary of an “Intercontinental Alliance”. At the Silver Anniversary Celebration, we get a glimpse of a post-modern, “Old City” plus the ‘history’ that made this possible.
Our second journey is to Peru in the year 2024. As a result of unexpected disasters, people worldwide have been forced to take shelter in the highlands. Antiquated establishments, defying reasonable reformation for decades, have finally succumbed to crumbling infrastructures and high flood waters. It is the end of the biased status quo! Fortunately this shifted the political and economic balance of all nations significantly in the direction of a global treaty, one based on solid principles of common, ethical laws (without any loopholes or legalese).
Our third journey is to M.I.T. in the spring of 2008. Ironically, competition led to an inundation of practical suggestions for cooperation, which can be combined to create a strategic plan for social evolution. Here we review a number of winning abstracts and see how we can synergistically work together to enliven, and positively, transform mankind.
Our fourth and final journey is to the courtyard outside Al-Aksa in the spring of 2050. As a result of deep, direct, transnational democracy (plus a deluge of intercultural, cooperative projects); we celebrate living examples of responsible peace, sustainable health and intercultural happiness throughout the earth… in our capital: Jerusalem.
