Jerusalem. A city seeping with history and culture – a city that is holy, but has never experienced an extended period of peace. In this short documentary, we have not chosen to focus on the political status of the city in the year 2050. Instead of trying to determine what Jerusalem should be, we had something else in mind. Asking young people from developing countries what they thought Jerusalem should look like in the year 2050. Their voices have been absent in the discourse on Jerusalem. Here, we will present their vision. We capture the hopes of a marginalized and often silenced demographic. We stand between those at the center and those on the margins, interpreting and bridging the gap. We present the common thread that tied their narrative together and wove in our own vision. Here are the leaders of tomorrow. Here are the voices you haven’t heard yet.
Note: Unfortunately, we are not able to post the videos associated with this vision because we have been unable to verify that the authors have permission to use the music used in the videos.
