Dictatorships and wars tend to distort the meaning of words.

When the words peace and justice will be pronounced by every single citizen of Jerusalem (and any foreigner) with the same meaning, then even sustainability will be possible.

Symbols of what happened in Jerusalem cannot be removed.

They are proofs of facts.

The wall is opened where needed for infrastructure and services, it stands as symbol of the old conflicts but is used as connector for the whole city.

Paradoxically, the logic of conflicts has to be removed to let people be able to think of peace.

It is not through any development of the current situation that Jerusalem can turn to peace: its logic is simply a deviation.

I approached Jerusalem’s problems by analyzing what works in several other situations and countries and elaborating a sum of them, readapting them to Jerusalem’s context. The motivation is that these principles work. Tailored Think Tanks will coordinate and address the process.

By 2050 Jerusalem will be a cosmopolitan capital dense with multiracial areas. It is the overall direction of big cities to reach this. It is unprofitable and inhuman to think of Jerusalem as a split capital for a split country. The state of Palestinians and Israeli will be one. Culture and respect are its basis.

This Strategy (not project, there are different possible variations of it and they depend on changing needs, relation to data, areas etc…) is considered a means to reach a Just Jerusalem by 2050.

It relates to the city as a whole because of its flexibility in program and because it is the synergy of the themes that makes it a whole.

The strategy stretches from today’s reality to 2050. It is a principle to be adapted and detailed.
