Jerusalem is the most conflicted and crucial area in regards to religion, ethnicity, and political affiliation in the world. How can Jerusalem become a place of peace? An amalgamative process makes multiple zones where every resident can enjoy and live without replicating contemporary discourses or political initiatives that have led to sustained and intractable conflict.
In Jerusalem Project, a Neutral Buffer is introduced which allows freedom of religion, education, and industry in a new ambiguous zone between Israeli and Palestinian. This new zone attempts to convert the perceived and real boundary that locates in fractional fights into more opened, mixed, peaceful, and international area for Jerusalem inhabitants, visitors, and international investigators. This renewed zone attempts to introduce neutral buffer scenarios through the spiritual approach of cemetery symbolizing their peace in faith and the physical approach of new international zone. This international zone will connect and reactivate composition of the phasing of the five types of bands – cemetery, education, park, industry, and community. This neutral zone between Israel and Palestine will lead to a new symbolic and sensitively beneficial area.
