Jerusalem is determined by a conflict which hinder the development of a normal and healthy city, would block, even bring it to a standstill. The omnipresent subject all around the religious meaning between the Arabian and the Israeli side suffocates all the other serious problems and lets little action space to the city. Many people connect with the city the three monotheistic religions, the holy sites, crusades and a conflict swelling today between two nations. Jerusalem is declared as an object, possession, as a treasure of these both parties for itself. The fact that it is in this distribution fight extremely unfairly and inhumanly, stands except question. Avarice, power, corruption, conspiracy, good and evil, expulsion, racism, extremism, terrorism, fight -an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. One connects Jerusalem also with that.
The project tries to find solution suggestions on the problems and mismanagement of the today's city of Jerusalem if it is to be admitted in the social, religious, the infrastructural and political sector. In the centre stands the creation of a symbol which releases the people from the lethargy of the past and finally indicates a possible way for the present and the future. Around this symbol originates a unique infrastructure which already takes up proven and available systems. In addition belongs the very controversial city wall, but also the change of the political system, the democracy as well as the application of new leadership and financing structures. The focus should be moved away from the religion and to the people of the city who create a functioning society. This all happens under the cloak of a fools trick and leads the people in one with social values and (development) possibilities rich future, Jerusalem in 2050.
