After the Just Jerusalem Competition Jury met on March 14-17, 2009, the Jerusalem 2050 Steering Committee wanted to recognize a team of middle schoolers, committed to peace and understanding, who entered the competition. These young men worked very hard to create a submission and to continue learning more about the situation in Jerusalem and encourage peace and understanding between different groups. The Director's Award was presented to these two students at a luncheon on September 12, 2008.
